Sydney Stitch Tapestry Of Sun Stitch Kit

This kit features a small part of a tapestry designed by Australian artist John Coburn. It was woven in France to be used as theatre curtains for the Sydney Opera House.

The tapestry, called The Curtain of the Sun, hung in the Joan Sutherland Theatre.

The tapestry is now too fragile to be displayed except for special occasions, so this kit offers a chance to enjoy the vibrant colours and abstract imagery of these amazing tapestries.
