The Poppy Tee is a top-down knit with thoughtful construction and clean finishing. It begins with the upper back yoke, shaped with increases and worked flat. Stitches are then picked up for each shoulder along the slanted edges of the back yoke and worked separately. The yoke is then joined and worked across the front and back - first flat, then in the round. The body and sleeves are worked in the round, with sleeves finished using either double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop technique. A folded neckline with integrated double knitting gives a smooth, structured edge.
